A photographic series from a personal volunteering experience whilst with Rewilding Apennines and Salviamo l'Orso in Italy. The work focussed on creating and maintaining wildlife corridors through the surrounding national parks in the Apennines in aim of protecting park wildlife and improving human-wildlife conflict in the area.
Prioritised species were the Griffon vulture, for their stomachs ability to digest chemicals and clean up ecosystems, and the Marsican bear -  an endangered species of European brown bear with only 60 left in the wild and limited to this region, mostly trying to change views and improve security around local farms and residential areas to reduce risks of predation on livestock and orchards.
